A yacht care startup in Valencia needed a name, and a logo that could literally hold a boat.
Owners leave their yachts in a marina, and someone has to wash them, check the batteries and keep them ready to sail. An experienced yacht caretaker in Valencia was starting that company, with no name and no identity.
Owners hand over something they love and can’t watch every day, so everything had to feel as reliable as a well kept berth.
Careaboat reads as an instruction and a promise at the same time. It also echoes “care about”, which is how every owner hopes their boat is treated.
A square frame holds three lines, CARE, A and BOAT, and the gap beside the A is the berth. Drop in a boat photographed from above and the whole service fits in one picture: a boat, safe and in its place.
The palette is the sea at different times of day, led by Night Sea Blue, Sunlit Sea Blue and Sandstone. On the light blue the boat casts a dark shadow, and on night blue the shadow turns light, so the boat always rests on the water.
Headlines in Atyp Display sit on colour blocks shaped like the logo frame, and ripple patterns give the brand its own calm texture.
The frame and the ripples carry across polos, beanies, vests and business cards. The back of the vest carries the line every owner wants to hear: Your boat, ready when you are.
The company paused the startup close to launch, so the identity hasn’t been used in public yet. The brandbook covers everything a launch would need.
